Add Continuous Monitoring to Your Smart Home Ecosystem

As IoT technology adoption increases, there is also increasing demand for long battery life designs with continuous wireless monitoring of key parameters such as environmental data, air quality, motion detection and more.

In this webinar we discuss three TI reference designs that help designers create smart technology that can be integrated into smart home ecosystems. These designs are easy to retrofit into existing homes. In combination with machine learning and artificial intelligence, the designs enable fewer false triggers, advanced motion detection and longer battery life for a smarter home.

Speakers

  • Gustavo Martinez is a senior systems architect at Texas Instruments, responsible for developing reference designs for industrial applications. Gustavo has ample experience developing system reference designs for the smart grid and home automation segments, including high performance application processors, floating-point digital signal processors and RF technology. He holds a Master of Electrical Engineering from the University of Houston and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Texas at El Paso.
     
  • Jarrod Krebs is a systems designer at Texas Instruments, developing reference designs in the industrial segment. Jarrod has experience with software and embedded applications implemented on ARM-based microcontrollers and TI’s MSP430™ platforms. Jarrod earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Kansas State University in Manhattan, KS.
     
  • Bilal Malik is a field application engineer at Texas Instruments, where he is responsible for West-Europe Industrial Accounts. Bilal earned his Master of Science in Electronics and Embedded Systems from Institut supérieur d'électronique de Paris (ISEP), France.
