IEC 62443: How to Achieve the Highest Levels of Industrial Security
In recent years, a rising tide of cyber-attacks on industrial systems have threatened safety and reliability. The world has learned that there is no industrial safety without cyber security. And now we must take the next step to improve industrial cybersecurity. Fortunately, an international group of experts have developed a comprehensive standard for industrial security. The IEC 62443 standards have been widely praised for their use of practical but effective countermeasures.
In this webinar, Infineon’s industrial security experts will provide an introduction to IEC 62443 so that all interested parties can learn how to use this valuable tool to secure their industrial systems.

Speakers
- Steve Hanna, is a Senior Principal at Infineon Technologies. On a global basis, he is responsible for Trusted Computing strategy and for finding new markets and applications for hardware security. Mr. Hanna has a deep background in information security, especially in software and systems. He is an inventor or co-inventor on 43 issued patents, the author of innumerable standards and white papers, and a regular speaker at industry events such as the RSA Conference. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Harvard University.
- Anasthasia Westphal, is a Product Marketing Manager at Infineon Technologies. She is responsible for the product strategy of security controllers for embedded industrial applications and has a special focus on the requirements for reaching the highest level of security within industrial settings. Prior to working at Infineon Technologies, she was working as Product Manager at Rohde & Schwarz and Dräxlmaier. She holds a diploma in Business and Technology Management with specialization in Electrical Engineering from Technical University of Munich.
